Three of our swimmers took part in the British Masters National Short Course Championships at Sheffield at the end of October.
Paul Nicholson finished 6th in the 50m freestyle and 11th in the 100m freestyle.
Graham Pearson was 1st in the 100m breaststroke, 1st in the 200m breaststroke , 1st in the 200m butterfly, 2nd in the 50m breaststroke, 2nd in the 100m butterfly and 2nd in the 200m Individual Medley.
Judy Hattle came 1st in the 50m butterfly, 1st in the 100m butterfly, 1st in the 200m butterfly and 1st in the 200m Individual Medley.
A new Scottish record was set by Judy in the 400m Individual Medley in a time of 5.35.55 (for her age group).
Judy Hattle was also part of a mixed relay team in both freestyle and medley relays with the total age of the four swimmers being over 200 years plus. They broke the British and European records in both events (in their age category). A great achievement!
