Well done to 6 of our swimmers who travelled to Harrogate for the weekend 27th to 28th January to compete in the 25th Harrogate Open Age Group Meet:
Katrina MacColl, Becky Livingstone, Carla McWilliams, Ashleigh Backhouse, Courtney Savage and Matthew Nicholson.
It was a highly competetive gala and everyone swam extremely well, with many personal best swims being achieved over the 2 days. Ashleigh won three gold medals, two silver and one bronze medal, as well as achieving two other top 6 places. Katrina won a silver and bronze medal in addition to 5 other top 6 places. Top 6 places were also achieved by Becky and Carla (2).
Congratulations in particular go to Ashleigh Backhouse who was the best overall 9-year old girl, gaining the most BAGCAT points over the weekend! Well done Ashleigh! |
