4 of our swimmers competed in the 2007 Manchester Open Long Course, held on 19th-20th May at the Manchester Aquatics Centre:

Dan Heeley, George Twentyman, Matthew Nicholson and Shiona Hattle.

All 4 competed superbly and each achieved some personal best times.

Matthew gained 2 pb's finishing 2nd in the 50m Breast and 5th in the 100m Breast.

George was 4th in the 50m back and also gained 3 pb's in 50m and 100m free and 100m fly. In his 100m free, he broke the minute for the first time.

Shiona achieved 2 pb's, finishing 3rd in both the 50m fly and also the 100m back. She was also 6th in the 200m IM.

Dan also finished with 2 personal best swims, including the 100m backstroke.
