Congratulations to our Diddy League Team on winning the friendly gala at Copeland pool on Saturday 2nd February. It was an amazing performance, as we took only a small team, and for several of our younger swimmers, this was the first time they had competed for our club! It was a nail-biting finish with City of Carlisle beating Ulverston by just 2 points, despite our team having 5 ‘no-swims/time only swims’.

Throughout the afternoon there were some fantastic performances and we came away with 16 ‘1st places’ and a further 13 ‘2nd places’. Captains for the day were Jack Richardson and Ashleigh Backhouse who collected the trophy at the end.
