13 of our swimmers travelled to Harrogate for the 26th Open Age Group Meet. It was a fantastic weekend, with many PB's being achieved and several of our swimmers gaining a place on the podium.
Congratulations in particular go to our gold medal winners: James Henderson (40.00 in 50m breaststroke) and Ashleigh Backhouse (35.34 in 50m butterfly). Ashleigh's time equals the county age group record for 10 year old girls. Well done to both.
Silver medals went to: Faye Williams who achieved a total of 3, (200m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke) and Ashleigh Backhouse (200m butterfly).
Bronze medals were won by: George Twentyman (2 in 50m butterfly and 100m butterfly), Rebecca Watson (50m Backstroke), and Jack Richardson (50m breaststroke).
